Luong Phat Nguyen

I'm Phat and I am an AI Research Scientist at Rizlum AI in Paris, where I work on multimodal-model systems for document analysis, contribute to an AI training and Agent platform, and research and build speech-to-speech conversational AI systems achieving sub-1 second latency.

Prior to that, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in LLM at Toyota Belgium and LISSI, working on multimodal dataset analysis, multimodal LLM design, and an intelligent emotion agent, and an AI Research Scientist at Trax Retail, where I built deep learning models for image recognition and real-time on-device algorithms for iOS.

Before that, I did my PhD in Computer Vision under the supervision of Julien Mille, Nicolas Ragot, Dominique Li and Donatello Conte in Laboratory of Fundamental and Applied Computer Science of Tours. I received my engineer degree at INSA Centre Val de Loire.

During my universtity years (2015-2018), I have done my internships at the Laboratory of Signal and Image Processing (Rennes) and in the company of RF-Track. The domains that I have done during these two internships are mainly Embedded Software, Signal Processing and Machine Learning.
